It's obv not the same as they're completly different drinks?! Salt can cause weight gain because it retains water in your blood :)

Of course it's not. It's a fruit drink, diet or not. Let's not leave out the calorie part either. It would be like 500+ cals for a whole bottle of it. Drinking 64oz of water has zero calories. Not to be bitchy but come on it's just common sense really.
As far as the salt goes I assume you mean just table salt. No calories. Very high in sodium, which is bad and causes the gain.

I would assume if it's a diet drink it has 0 calories.
Perhaps I misunderstood what you are saying?

Diet v8 isn't 0 calories, it's 10 for every 8oz. Gotta watch those fruit diet drinks. (I only know cause I drink it for breakfast.)
Though I would think nothing could really compare to water since it has zero of everything *shrugs* :)

I probably should have assumed that you know what you are talking about more than I do.
I drink nothing but water, I refuse to drink any calories.
Thanks for clearing that up for me though, now I know never to drink diet v8.

in terms of hydration, you're just as good with diet v8 as water, but obviously it has calories. since helplesslostant said it has 10 cals/8oz, drinking 64oz would be 80 calories. and salt has no calories, but a diet high in sodium can cause water retention and high bloof pressure.
